The festival will run from the\u00c2\u00a01st\u00c2\u00a0November to the\u00c2\u00a027th\u00c2\u00a0November and will offer a range of opportunities to engage in science exploration,\u00c2\u00a0discovery,\u00c2\u00a0and debate.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\">All events are free to attend and will be <strong>delivered online through Zoom<\/strong>.&nbsp;This programme is&nbsp;funded<br>by Science Foundation Ireland&nbsp;in celebration of Science Week which takes place from the 7th-14th November.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"text-decoration:underline;\">Events For Children<\/span><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/kildarelibraries.ie\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/brooke-lark-8beth4vkhli-unsplash.jpg?w=1024\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4251\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><br>Ice-Cream Making STEM Workshop with Anyone4Science<\/strong><br>                                                                <em>3:30pm on<\/em> <strong> <\/strong><em>Saturday 6th November<\/em> \/ <em>Ages 8-12 years.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Join Anyone4Science for a fun and informative workshop on making your very own freezer.<br>During this workshop children will learn how to make a freezer like they did in Roman times and<br>then test to see if it works by making their own batch of homemade ice cream. Participants will<br>need to provide their own ingredients which can generally be found in the home. Using a few readily available<br>household items, you will learn how to make your own bubbles. What are bubbles? And how big<br>can you make them? You&#8217;ll also get to make your own bubble mix and your own bubble wands. Supergirl can effortlessly lift cars and aeroplanes; Tony Stark flies around New York City in an Iron Man suit; and Spider-Man climbs walls.
