Romance Novel.

Review by: Chantelle, LCA Intern for Library HQ

Synopsis: As a third-year PhD candidate, Olive Smith doesn’t believe in lasting romantic relationships-but her best friend does, and that is what got her into this conundrum. Convincing Anh that Olive is dating and well on her way to a happily ever after was always going to take more than mind tricks: Scientists require concrete evidence. So, like any self-respecting biologist, Olive panics and kisses the first man she sees.

How was she to know it was none other than a well known young hotshot professor named Adam Carlsen.

Somehow the two are now putting on a show for not only Anh but the whole school…

Review: Olive has devoted her life to a career that just may topple like a house of cards, but she doesn’t let the little things get her way.

Things like…dating. Dating in her eyes is useless. Pointless, since she has far too much research to carry out.

But Anh wants to see Olive happy. Olive wants to reassure Anh that she is happy. Somehow that leads to an eventful night in the lab in which she kisses a young professor who has been gossiped about continuously in the most unflattering terms.

Adam could have turned her away, ignored the convoluted plan and told off about her to HR, but he didn’t. Instead he agreed to the ludicrous plan.

The Love Hypothesis is a light-hearted book with sparks added into the craziness. It contains humor, drama, and most importantly, romance.

If you’d like to read this recent release, you can place a hold on a copy for pickup in any of our libraries by requesting it here.

Title: The Love Hypothesis Author: Ali Hazelwood Genre: Young Adult Fiction.
