Captain H. G. Hosie
The name of Captain H. G. Hosie, R.A.S.C., was recently forwarded to the Secretary of State for War for valuable services rendered in connection with the war while under the Department of the Quartermaster-General. Captain Hosie is the elder son of Mr. Henry Hosie, Coursetown House, Athy, and was one of the first to obtain a commission on the outbreak of war. Captain Hosie had over two years service abroad – first on the Western front, from October, 1914, and afterwards in Salonika, being invalided from the latter front in the end of 1916. He has since been on home service and is now Officer in Charge of Machinery to the Scottish Area Forage Department.
