Lest We Forget – Kildare and the Great Famine (E-Book)

The seminal work on the Great Famine in Kildare was published to commemorate the 150th anniversary in 1995. It has long been out of print. Copyright rests with the various authors but in this extraordinary time we thought it would be a worthy resource to upload as an example of useful scholarship in relation to Co. Kildare.  The county is not often associated with the ravages of the Great Famine in Ireland and this necessitated a closer look at the subject in time for the commemoration: an example of how centenaries and commemorations can be put to good use.
