NEW BANK PREMISES 

OPENED IN NAAS 

The splendid new premises of the Hibernian Bank, Main St, Naas, was officially opened on the 16th inst by the Manager Mr. D. J. Lambe, Mr Mitchell, Inspector being also present.

Construction work is still proceeding and will not be finished for some months. Built on the most modern style, the new building is a most imposing structure, and will add immensely to the architectural beauty of the town, beside furnishing the staff of the bank with a commodious and very comfortable offices

All the latest innovations have been introduced including central heating electric lightning, etc., and the visitors will be immediately impressed by the beautifully tiled floor, mahogany desks, and well ventilated interior, offering the maximum convenience and comfort to the officials. The handsome edifice, it is interesting to note, was erected by Mr John Rolley, Leixlip, Co. Kildare, to whom the greatest credit is due as well as to the architects. The old Hibernian Bank premises is being converted into a residence for the very popular Manager, Mr. D. J. Lambe, by the same contract. The Hibernian Bank Co. established their first office in the town in 1863.
