North Kildare Farmers Meeting on the Treaty

On 31 December 1921, a meeting of North Kildare Farmers held in Naas Town Hall unanimously endorsed the Anglo-Irish Treaty. It included representatives of farmers from Ballymore-Eustace, Carbury, Celbridge, Clane, Kilcullen, Maynooth, Naas, Newbridge & Robertstown. An advertisement for the meeting appeared in The Leinster Leader on the same day.
