Tunnels from Tintown, National Heritage Week event

22 August, 11:30am – 12:30pm at Kildare County Archives and Local Studies, Harbour View, Naas, Co. Kildare

A short presentation will explore the connections, networks and routes that played a part in the story of the Curragh Internment Camps.  The internees were men from all over Ireland who were held in the camps between 1916-1923. Several internment camp autograph books held in Kildare County Archives and Local Studies which contain their signatures and addresses, along with drawings, poems, photographs and artifacts, will feature, as well as the story of the escapes they planned and carried out. A Heritage Week event.

Booking essential.
