Welcome To The Updated Kildare eHistory Journal

After eighteen years Kildare Library Service decided it was time to overhaul the Kildare eHistory site that was originally launched in May 2006! As part of the upgrade, the website address is changing to  https://kildarelibraries.ie/ehistory/

The new site is designed to be more visually attractive and will provide an opportunity to showcase a range of material from the Kildare County Archives and Local Studies collections. Assigned categories and the format of the site will also be changing as part of the update. Please note that the new site will continue to evolve and with over 1900 existing posts is a work in progress.

We also continue to welcome submissions of suitable content relating to the heritage and history of County Kildare and its people by the wider public for inclusion on the new site.
