Desmond Guinness and Mrs. Guinness. Lord Snowdon was at the wheel of Lady de Vesci\u2019s M.G. 1100 as the party toured the surrounding countryside. At Connolly\u2019s Folly, near Carton, Lord Snowdon borrowed a newspaper photographer\u2019s camera to take pictures of the party before the obelisk. They visited Lord and Lady Brockett at Carton House and Lord and Lady Carew at Castletown, Celbridge, before returning to Abbeyleix.
