It corresponded with what I had previously heard from some of them of the kindly way in which they had been treated. I feel very proud of the town with which so many happy years of my life were associated. I was also delighted to see from what you said that so many had joined the colours in Athy and its neighbourhood. It is pleasant to see that South Kildare realises the immense crisis with which we are faced.
