{"id":297,"date":"2008-06-19T14:50:37","date_gmt":"2008-06-19T14:50:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/54.229.91.100\/libraryandarts\/library\/ehistory\/?p=297"},"modified":"2024-06-06T13:09:51","modified_gmt":"2024-06-06T12:09:51","slug":"journalists-in-residence","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kildarelibraries.ie\/ehistory\/journalists-in-residence\/","title":{"rendered":"JOURNALISTS IN RESIDENCE!"},"content":{"rendered":"<div align=\"justify\">On&nbsp;Tuesday we had a visit from two of our more famous historical journalists &#8211;&nbsp;Liam Kenny who writes a&nbsp;weekly column &#8216;Nothing New Under the Sun&#8217;, for The Leinster Leader and contributes&nbsp;all these articles to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kildare.ie\/library\/ehistory\/nothing_new_under_the_sun\/\">EHistory<\/a> and Frank Taaffe who has been writing his &#8216;Eye on the PAst&#8217; column&nbsp;for the Athy page of the Kildare Nationalist now for many years and has recently committed many of these articles to the web&nbsp;&#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/athyeyeonthepast.blogspot.com\/\">Athy on the Past blogspot<\/a><\/div>\n<div align=\"justify\">Both of course are well known in Co. Kildare Local History circles and are involved in the Naas and Athy Local History Groups and the Co.
