He was for many years agent for an insurance company in the district. He was a talented violinist and played at many concerts and in variety acts in local cinemas. The family had a very close and active association with the freedom fight and his late father was a justice in the Sinn Fein Courts. He is survived by his wife and family and brothers, John and Patrick.
