On the suggestion of a member the group is producing 10,000 Christmas cards with a local motif. All local traders have a supply and the youth clubs, St. Conleth\u2019s and \u201cTeens\u201d, are co-operating in the sale of the cards. As committee secretary Captain Dan Kennedy points out, this is a very suitable way of involving youth in the work of helping the elderly; the response by the members of the youth clubs indicates that they are not lacking in consideration for the older people and indeed may justly be regarded as having set a headline for the rest of the county.<\/p>\n<p>The artist for the Christmas card scene is Mrs. Brownie Mansfield, of Barrettstown House.
