(Frank) Malone, the noted Kildare footballer of Digby Bridge, Naas. Winner of two All-Ireland football medals with Kildare, as well as a Tailteann medal (1928) and about six Leinster Championships, the late Frank Malone played at left full-back. He was a member of the Caragh team from 1919 until its amalgamation with Raheens. He last played in 1941.
