The writer gave but meagre details, merely stating that they beat the Germans and that there was no casualty on his ship. He added that he was sorry he was forbidden to tell where his ship was or what it was doing.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><strong><em>Kildare Observer<\/em><\/strong> 23 January 1915<br \/>\nLast week Stoker Joseph Freeman, H.M.S. Lowestoft, paid an unexpected visit of a few hours\u2019 duration to his parents, who reside at Hodgestown, near Donadea.
