Beyond the Book is our annual celebration of books, stories, authors, illustrators and beyond! What are the ingredients that make a great book? Why do we continue to read some stories again and again? How does a story live on after we close the final page?
Join us this year from wherever you are, as we present a schedule of online events that can be enjoyed from the comfort and safety of home.
Draw a dinosaur with Tarsila Kruse, hear local legends and tales from Niall de Burca, and sign-up to our interactive storytelling session with Helena Byrne. Get beyond the book with Yo-Yo-Yoga’s Stories with Stretches, and crafts based on your favourite characters.
All events are free of charge, and will be available across multiple online platforms, please note that booking is required for some events. Keep an eye out for exciting video premieres on Facebook, where you can start a Watch Party with your class, family, or friends, and send messages to each other as you watch together.
