A new flipbook has just been added online, based on the Éamonn Ó Modhráin ‘A Revolutionary Journey’ exhibition that was on display in County Kildare during 2016.
It includes re-productions of original documents and personal effects belonging to Éamonn Ó Modhráin, including from his time in Frongoch Internment Camp. Éamonn Ó Modhráin was a prominent republican, Conradh na Gaeilge activist and battalion commander of the Irish Volunteers in South Kildare throughout the War of Independence. He also served as Vice-Chair of Kildare County Council.
