As the Summer draws to a close and everyone is headed back to school, here at Kildare Libraries we wanted to talk to you all about all that Summer reading you did over the last few months. At the start of the Summer many of you will have picked up your Summer Stars Reading card which looked like this.
It’s now time to bring your completed cards back to your local library by the 31st of August (Monday) in order to collect your hard earned prizes. Goodie bags with your certificate for taking part, Summer Star Medal and prizes will be available to collect from the 14th of September at your local library. You’ll need to book an appointment here and remember that under 13’s must be accompanied by an adult to the library.
This year we will be holding our Summer Stars Party online on our Kildare County Library service Facebook page on Saturday the 12th of September at 12 noon so don’t forget to join in the fun and celebrate your reading accomplishments with all of us here at Kildare Library then !
