Synopsis: Crystal Frost is adamant she isn’t crazy. But despite all her protests, she can’t justify the fact that normal people don’t see ghosts. Only insane people do. Crazy people, like herself. As her psychic abilities manifest, Crystal discovers she can see into the future, witness the past, and communicate with the dead.
Add blackmail to the list of things she never thought would happen to her, and you basically have her sophomore year covered.
After spotting her first ghost, secrets from her family, friends, and classmates begin to surface. Uncovering secrets can be dangerous, but giving up means someone will get hurt. Again. And Crystal just may be the only one who can stop trouble from reaching boiling point.
Review: Fire in Frost is the first book in the four part series. An excellent paranormal series for any young readers interested in ghosts and the other-worldly.
The book itself is set in a high school in a small town. Crystal Frost is just like any other teenage girl. She has two close friends, she plays sports.
Her mother is a certifiable loon who dresses up as a fortune teller every Halloween. Crystal has visions and can see and talk to ghosts. You know, normal teenaged stuff. However with these newfound…gifts everything goes hay-wire.
Suddenly that comfortable stability that average people have is a distant dream for her. Because she has powers nobody else can know about. Not without people looking at her like she’s gone barmy, anyway.
Follow along as Crystal tackles ghosts, sordid pasts, with just a glimmer of romance scattered throughout each book.
