Synopsis: Enemies to lovers is a trope designed solely for the fictional world, so why does it apply perfectly for Tate Collins and Miles Archer?
The two disliked each other on sight. The one thing they could agree on is that they’re attracted to one another. When the truth is revealed it’s the perfect setup. Tate doesn’t have time for romance and Miles abhors the notion of loving someone.
What could possibly go wrong?
Review: Tate and Miles, while mutually hating each other, can both agree they’re attracted to each other. So they strike up an agreement. They will explore their desires, but in exchange Miles has two rules. Two simple rules. Never ask about the past; and don’t expect a future.
Tate thinks that’s as simple as closing her eyes, why would she struggle with his rules? All they have going for them is attraction, nothing else.
But as nights turn into days, Tate finds herself breaching their contract. She wants to know his past, she wants to be part of his future.
Can Tate and Archer finish the typical ‘Enemies to Lovers’ trope? Or will they both be broken in the end?
Ugly Love is one of many excellently written novels that will leave you either throwing the book or clutching it to your chest while you sob uncontrollably, it’s entirely up to you.
