This book isn’t for everyone but if you like fantasy and horror this might be right up your street.
All of a sudden all over the news there are reports something is invading the humans and animals (a bit ironic in the times that are in it). People are panicking and they soon realise they must cover their eyes because there is something out there lurking in the shadows. Humans have sussed out if they see this predator they will die instantly. In order to survive they must wear blind folds at all times. The main character gives birth to twins shortly after this crisis. Soon food supplies run low and the others in the house, she is hiding in, die one by one. She must navigate her way out of this shack and head to a better place.
With our current situation this might be too on the nose for some people but If you love stories that scare the bejaysus out of you then this one is for you. After reading you can also compare the book to the movie on Netflix and comment back here to let us know what you thought.
