Review: A thousand Perfect Notes centres around a boy who’s been raised to play music. His mother-the well renowned maestro, used to play before she had her tragic accident and could play no more. Beck’s mother expects the world of him and Beck can’t ever seem to deliver it to her, no matter how hard or long he plays the piano. No matter how many bloodied fingerprints dance along the keys of the piano, Beck isn’t capable of bringing the maestro’s notes to life.
Crushed under the weight of the world–or in this case the musical notes of the piano, Beck is struggling when August enters his life.
A girl with a bright smile, a slightly quirky sense of humour, and completely abhors wearing shoes.
Beck can’t be involved with August, friends or otherwise, he hasn’t the time and God help everyone if his mother ever found out but. . .Something about August brings out a musical side of him he’s never felt before.
