Synopsis: An outlawed family determined to be powerful. A son intended to lead. A renowned thief sent by order of the queen. One battle, destined to bring them all together.

Review: Dance of Thieves is the first book in the series. The book follows two main characters, Kazi and Jase. Kazi, a formidable reformed thief sent to learn more about unsuspecting Jase.

He doesn’t know what is in store for him, but neither does Kazi. As she continues to get close to the outlaw the story begins to become a tangled web of high handed power moves, deceit, and trickery. Neither is sure who they can trust, but one thing is certain: She’s managed to steal the smallest things imaginable and the largest things possible, and still she has never been caught. But Kazi may have bit off more than she could chew this time, when she finds herself stealing Jase’s heart.

Dance of Thieves is a bewitching fantasy book sure to draw the reader in. The characters are loveable, and more importantly, relatable. A thoroughly enjoyable read, well worth a quiet few hours curled up on the couch.
