Review: House of Earth and Blood is yet another excellent read penned by Sarah J. Maas. She builds a creative and wondrous world where the reader is able to lose themselves within the fantasy. The reader experiences Bryce Quinlan’s battle with the grief of not only losing her friends, but one of her best friends. The friend who was supposed to be by her side no matter what.
Confusion over what or who killed the group, drives Bryce head first into a world of sordid lies, misconceptions, half-truths, and plain old naïveté. Beside her, a man chained by powerful magic. Hunter Alathar and Bryce not only battle demons, by their attraction to one another…
I would strongly recommend House of Earth and Blood to anyone who enjoys fantasy realms and is up to having their heart strings plucked a time or two.
