Synopsis:

Rosie Graham is in deep waters and desperately needs a lifeline when her life begins to collapse around her. Firstly, her career as an author is quickly failing when her creative juice dries up. Secondly she is left homeless when her apartment fails to remain intact. And finally, when Rosie travels to her best friends’ apartment it is to find it occupied by her friend’s cousin, Lucas. A man she’s secretly been obsessed with.

Lucas learns of her writer’s block and proposes an experiment of sorts. He will take her out on dates in hopes it will spark her creative ideas once more.

But what happens when the research is far more interesting than the writing? When rather than creating a fictional man to fall in love with, she begins to fall for the actual man? A man she has no chance of snagging all to herself. Right?

Review: The American Roommate Experiment is the second book that Elena Armas has written. Her first was The Spanish Love Deception.
Rosie and Lucas are an intriguing “couple” and make the book lighthearted and impossible to put down. I’d highly recommend you take a look at this book and perhaps the Spanish Love Deception as well
