People meet her, but they soon forget her. In fact everyone forgets her. Until one day, Addie meets someone who finally remembers who she is and her world is once more irrevocably changed.
Review: The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue is a historical fiction and fantasy novel, centred around the life and trials of Addie. Addie, who made a rash decision many years ago and has since then witnessed wars, famine, the rise and fall of empires and watched society change. And through this all, she has been forgotten by all who ever laid eyes upon her.Â
That was the catch in her deal, the bargain she struck which cannot not end until she finally allows the Devil to steal her soul from her. But Addie is stubborn and refuses to give it up.
This book has an interesting storyline and different take on an old myth. It is suitable for adults.
