Synopsis: Mildred Hubble was a trainee witch and made an awful mess of it. But she managed to survive at Miss. Cackle’s Academy.

Up until an unfortunate incident where she turned Ethel, the teacher’s pet whose spells were always perfect, into her deadly enemy…

Review: The Worst Witch is a highly amusing children’s series written by Jill Murphy.

The world in which the reader is sucked into is seemingly conventional, practically innocuous.  Set in the mountains, far away from the seeing eyes of humans, sits a large castle hidden behind a haven of pine trees.

The castle itself plays host to students of all ages. Not normal students, mind you, but witches.  Witches like Mildred Hubble. Who unfortunately, never can seem to do anything exactly right.

Follow along for an interesting spin on the “real world”, and never ending amusement brought on by Mildred Hubble’s unfortunate mistakes.
