Kildare County Council’s Local Enterprise Office (LEO) is delighted to offer Kildare based artists, makers & creatives two very exciting retail opportunities.
A Christmas pop up in Kildare Village will showcase the best of Kildare made art and craft. Representatives of both LEO Kildare and Kildare Village will collaborate to select and run this festive pop up.
In addition, Kildare County Councils ‘Support Local Initiative’, is giving Craft and Creative businesses the chance to lead a creative retail shop in Kildare Town.
A prime retail unit in The Square in Kildare Town will be transformed into a curated store showcasing products from our creative cluster. The independent retail unit opportunity will start no later than October 2023 and will be supported by the LEO team at all stages.
This provides a unique opportunity as part of a wider feasibility study, to develop a permanent home for the sector in Kildare. Not only will this group enjoy free rental space within the unit, but will learn from a community of local businesses and receive additional supports from our partners:

Applications for both retail opportunities must be submitted online. Spaces within both locations will be limited and will follow a competitive selection process. The Expression of Interest form is available here.
