Dave Asprey’s easy to follow, two-week program offers a detailed plan to supercharge brain performance, including: which foods to eat and which ones to
avoid, how to incorporate the right kinds of physical activity into your day, a detox protocol for your home and body; meditation and breathing for performance,
recommended brain-boosting supplements; and how to adjust the lighting in your home and work space to give your brain the quality light it thrives on. A better brain- and a happier, easier, more productive life-is within reach. You just need to get Head
Strong.

What I particularly liked about this book was Asprey’s no-nonsense approach to
improving our mental function to its utmost capacity. I have read Asprey’s bestselling
Bulletproof Diet book before this and Head Strong does not fail in living up to its
predecessor. This brilliant non-fiction title gives a thorough synopsis of why our
mitochondria i.e. our cells powerhouses, are so important. The book always kept me
guessing what gems of knowledge Asprey might promote, as he gives invaluable
information on how to supercharge our minds as well as reducing inflammation and
what foods to eat to make this a possibility. My favourite part of the book was the
chapter on smart supplements as the reader is given vital tips in which supplements
are best used to get the most out of our brain. Most of the book is mysterious as the
author gives a great insight into how vital our brains are to our everyday living and
the reader will no doubt benefit from adopting some of the advice in this book. The
story always gripped me as I was constantly engaged with the book as the
information is that profound that it is hard to put down.
