Winter Wonder Tales with StoryGate – Family storytelling session

Huddle together for this online cosy story time. German storyteller Simone Schuemmelfeder from StoryGate will spread the joy of Christmas with heart-warming stories for the whole family! Listen to her story STARS INSIDE about a little girl’s journey to find stars for her Christmas tree, be enchanted by a tale of dancing snowmen and marvel at stories about the Christmas witch! 30min, Age group 5+.

Another festive story-time with Helena Byrne follows at 12pm courtesy of Maynooth Library, this time bilingually through both English and Irish. Helena will regale your children with tales of Christmas adventures, interactive games, treasure hunts agus ‘Amhráin Na Nollag’ to bring your and your wee ones right into the festive spirit. Lorraine Levis’ Recommended Children’s Books

Lorraine Levis will be discussing the perfect gifts for all of the young readers in your life – covering titles for the smallest of babies to the pickiest of teenagers.
Of course books aren’t just for Christmas! She will be answering all of your questions on how to keep children engaged with reading and any other concerns you may have.
