Review:

This is the final book in the trilogy about the famine. When Peggy was only seven she made a journey with her siblings. Later she goes to America to make life better for them. She starts working as a kitchen maid. Michael made the same journey with his two sisters. Eily and Peggy. Now he works for Lord Henry Buckland as a horseman at the Big House. With the Big House burnt to ashes. Michael loses his sweetheart and job but he gains a horse and a foal. Eily made the journey as well. Now she lives with her husband, two kids and Aunt Nano. With old Agnes evicted and the rent increase. Eily feels like eviction is coming her family’s way. A flawless master piece and heart breaking get heart warming trilogy.
