The upcoming Economic and Community Plan is moving into the consultation stage, and Kildare County Council are calling on local groups to attend meetings to feed into this policy.
Consultation is a very important stage in the process, and KCC is cognisant that a number of recent plans have held extensive consultation processes such as the County Development Plan, Age Friendly, Children and Young Peoples Services Committee, Economic Development Strategy etc. As part of the LECP we are taking the following approach to consultation:
- Reviewing the consultation reports from relevant plans completed since 2000
- Working with Kildare PPN to hold 5 local consultation sessions
- A short survey
- Targeted meetings
Part 2 will be happening via consultation meetings which will be occurring over the next while, a list of which are below. The Maynooth-Clane MD meeting happened yesterday.
