Hungry Caterpillar Art Workshop for 2-5 Year Olds
Thursday 15th July at 10am
Join Janet from Gymboree Celbridge for Art & Craft fun for 2 to 5 years old! All children benefit from an opportunity to be creative! Children will explore different mediums and textures, supporting sensory input, fine motor, and gross motor skill. Class also includes story time, action songs & movement designed to keep the little ones engaged and active!
Hungry Caterpillar Art Kit is supplied containing materials needed to make the class project. Once you book a place, kits will be available to collect from Leixlip Library from Tuesday 29th June.
Please note additional materials needed from home are: gluestick, paintbrush or small sponge, paint (ideally 2 or 3 bright colours), crayons – red and green (or whatever you have!).

Play & Music Gymboree for 6 months to 5 Year Olds
Thursday 22nd July at 10am
It’s time to get your little one moving, grooving and playing with our interactive class. Let’s use some of your little one’s energy and imagination in this teacher led, parent facilitated virtual multi-sensory play and music class. This class is designed to support parents with their babies, toddlers & pre-schoolers as we will sing, move and play in our themed class. Experience music from all around the world- music from both past and present, near and far!
Music play also helps activate the parts of the brain responsible for language development.
A list of readily available household items that can be used in class will be sent out in advance with suggestions on how to improvise yourself.

Amazing Avocado Interactive Magic Show for 3-6 Year Olds
Wednesday 28th July at 10.30am
A fun, interactive Zoom magic show aimed at children aged three to six. Sit back and laugh at 30 minutes of magic and mayhem. See objects appear and disappear and the children join in too. Very fun. Very interactive. A flight of fancy into imagination and beyond.

Please book a slot to come in and pick up your kit from Leixlip Community Library at Leixlip Library Booking System.

Take and Make Children’s Knitting Kit
Monday 12th – Saturday 17th July
Sheila’s knitting kit has all you need to learn how to knit, including needles and wool. Learn how to knit, cast on, garter stitch, and cast off, with Sheila’s step by step craft pack! These packs can be collected from Leixlip Community Library from the 12th – 17th of July. Ring Leixlip Library at 01-6060050 to place a hold on kit. First come first serve.
Suitable for 8 – 11 year olds.
Take and Make Ceramic Pot Painting Kits
Monday 19th – Saturday 24th July
Decorate a ceramic plant pot with fun felt flowers, buttons and lollipop sticks that Sheila from Leixlip Library has prepared. These packs can be collected from Leixlip Community Library from the 19th to 24th July. Ring Leixlip Library at 01-6060050 to place a hold on kit. First come first serve.
Suitable for 7 – 9 year olds.
Take and Make Octopus Craft Kit
Monday 26th July to Friday 30th July
Sheila from Leixlip Library has put together a fun Octopus craft kit for you to make at home.
These packs can be collected from Leixlip Community Library from the 26th to 30th July. Ring Leixlip Library at 01-6060050 to place a hold on kit. First come first serve.
Suitable for 4 – 6 year olds.
