The County Kildare Decade of Commemorations Committee are delighted to present the programme for the 5th Irish Military Seminar, taking place online from 8th to 19th June 2021. All events are free, with the full programme and booking details available on www.kildare.ie/ehistory 

Talks on a diverse range of topics including World War I, Garrison Towns, Military Archives, War of Independence, Strongbow, cartoonist Bill Mauldin and how museums showcase artefacts from the 1912-23 period are among those that feature in the programme. A new comprehensive listing of the Kildare dead of World War I Remembrance: The World War I Dead of County Kildare will also be launched by the Cathaoirleach of Kildare County Council, Cllr Mark Stafford.  

The seminar programme will be of interest to anyone interested in Irish history. We would be delighted to welcome you to these free online events and please feel free to pass on details of the Seminar to anyone you think might be interested.
