THOMAS McDONALD, NAAS

Leinster Leader 25 October 1952

OBITUARY

THOMAS McDONALD, NAAS

Deep regret will be expressed at the unexpected death of Mr. Thomas McDonald, Basin Street, Naas, who was a member of an old and highly respected Naas family. A compositor by trade, he first worked on the staff of the “Kildare Observer,” and subsequently he was engaged on the staff of the Leinster Leader, and in printing works in Dublin, Navan and Dungarvan, from which he retired some years ago.

An unassuming and kindly man, he was very popular with the people of the town and district.

The interment took place to St. Corban’s Cemetery, Naas, on Tuesday last. The chief mourners were: Rev. Brother P. Rafferty, Mrs. Rafferty, Mrs. Comerford, Messrs. Michael Rafferty and Daniel Comerford.
