The Parliamentary Returns have afforded the most conclusive testimony of the circulation of the EXPRESS. The issue of Stamps for one year ending June 30, 1840, may be summed up as follows:

When it is considered that each number is read on an average by ten persons, and again circulates amongst the connexions of each subscriber in other counties, it must appear obvious that THE MOST EFFECTIVE PUBLICITY IS AFFORDED TO ADVERTISEMENTS!
